A complete download system for Elkarte.

Uploadable or linked downloads
Approval of downloads option
Reporting of downloads
Option to have comments on an download
Subcategory support
Ability to rate downloads
Who is viewing download or category
Category level permissions by membergroups
File space manager to see which users are using up the most space
Options to control category display settings
Options to control download display settings
Linking code options

Can't add categories or even view the downloads page. Takes me straight to the index of forum

Yes sir, I do. I uninstalled and reinstalled again after downloading the files again. Still can't seem to get to the page for downloads or gallery and I have 189 errors for it in my error log. I guess there could be something wrong with my elk arte install.

What errors are you getting in the logs? I am currently running the gallery and download system on this site.

Hi @Admin,

I had the same problems today after installing. The downloads page leads me to the forum index and not to the downloads.

The same applies to the ezGallery addon. Perhaps it will look on you. Thanks in advance. Otherwise I would like to install your plugins.

I work with ElkArte 1.1 Final, PHP 7.1 and MySQL 5.7.

Very odd might a linux issue going try playing around with some file names and controller names and see if it makes a difference.

Has ElkArte SEF URLs, because I can find it in the ACP nowhere. The downloads should be in the browser under /downloads, but for me it is domain.tld/index.php?action=downloads

Perhaps the mistake.

Is there a setting for that in ACP? Or just enabled by default?

I haven't seen a setting for that anywhere in my admin area. I know that it goes to the same page if I use /downloads or /gallery it will go to index.php?action=downloads or index.php?action=gallery but there is no gallery or downloads page there.... just the forum index

Weird that it doesn't do it on this site but it does it for me and AlexanderLiebrecht

+Added check for upload url to be sure it is http:// or https://
!Permission fixes stats page and search results when using category level permissions
!Fixes for remote filesize function more checks added. Requires allow_url_fopen to be set
